Carrie J. Schroeder ministered in Catholic high schools as a Religious Studies teacher and Campus Minister for 20 years. She currently works full-time as a writer, curriculum developer, and consultant seeking to foster quality Religious Studies instruction in U.S. Catholic secondary schools. She holds a BA in Religious Education from the Catholic University of America, a Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and a Doctorate in Catholic Educational Leadership from the University of San Francisco. Carrie's previous Saint Mary's Press publications include Jesus Christ: God's Love Made Visible and several teacher guides. She lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, Adrian, and their dog, Russell.
