Overview
This eLearning 2-day sampler course introduces 11th and 12th grade students’ hearts and minds to the Catholic Social Teaching theme of solidarity. Enliven dynamics with Solidarity’s engaging polls, contemporary storytelling, interactive decision-making activities, and compelling discussion prompts.
Pope Francis’ message to the world is, “The Word is a gift. Other persons are a gift.” Solidarity is a great way to inspire your students to respond to our Pope’s challenge to follow Jesus by creating a culture of encounter in our one human family.
This sampler course can also be used as a community-building Lenten experience for faculty development, or with groups preparing for service events or mission trips.
