Mari Rapela Heidt holds a PhD in theological ethics from Marquette University and teaches at the University of Dayton in Ohio. She has served as visiting assistant professor in the Theology Department at Marquette University, where she also served as instructor in the College of Professional Studies and instructor in the Theology Department. She has also served as instructor in the Theology Department at Mount Mary College. Rapela Heidt has taught a variety of courses: Christian Faith in Cultural Contexts and Medical Ethics, Introduction to Theology, Current Moral Issues, and World Religions. She is a member of several major professional societies and has presented at conferences and as a guest speaker.
