Lesson in a Bag™

Lesson 3, Eucharist introduces children to the Scripture story about Jesus eating with sinners. Children will understand how sin affects our relationship with God and with others and will also be able to explain the difference between mortal sin and venial sin. They will experience praying one of the prayers for God’s mercy from the Penitential Act and will also learn how the Penitential Act at the beginning of Mass helps us prepare for Holy Communion.
