Save Me, O God

About this article

Based on the beginning of Psalm 69, this prayer from a teenager asks for God for help with stress.
Save me, O God, . . .
I have come into deep waters,
and the flood sweeps over me.
(Psalm 69:1-2)

God, so many pressures seem too difficult to deal with.
From parents to school to just growing up,
I cannot deal with these things alone.
Please save me from drowning in this sea of stresses.
Help me to bear my cross,
and calm the tumultuous waters of my heart and mind
so that I might be able to serve you and others better.
