Lee Danesco

Lee Danesco served as the director of religious education at Saint Mary's Parish in Foxboro, Massachusetts, for 24 years, and as a pastoral associate for eight years. During that time, she worked directly with young people in faith-sharing sessions, wrote program text and resource materials, and presented more than 50 retreats as well as coordinating long- and short-term service projects for parish youth.

Lee has published articles in Catechist Magazine, Religion Teacher's Journal and Today's Parish and authored Planning a Youth Service Week (Twenty-Third Publications, 2001). She has also provided catechist enrichment programs for many area parishes. She is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and received her master's degree in the art of teaching from Brown University. Lee and her husband, Michael, have three children and five grandchildren.
