By Mark M. Wilkins, teacher, St. Xavier High School

I have been using An Introduction to Health Care Ethics this fall with a student who is taking Bioethics as an independent study course. It is the best introduction I have found in this area. I have 32 years teaching experience with 12 years teaching Bioethics on the high school level and 8 teaching nursing students as a college adjunct. Your Healthcare Ethics book is thoughtful, comprehensive and accessible. The student using this book has found it very easy to read and understand. It has helped me push him on to other, more academic readings. I am going to suggest to my teaching partner that we adopt this book for the future. It will be the first Ethics text we have used in the 12 years of teaching the course. The book is that good.

By Rev. Steven O'Hala, Saint Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, Florida

I commend the authors for their effort to offer this kind of introduction to health care ethics, which explains the theological dimension of current issues with the help of practical cases.

By Dr. Karen Elliott, CPPS, Mercy College of Northwest Ohio

"I feel very enthusiastic about the engaging and dynamic presentation of medical ethics in this text. The multimedia aids encourage creativity by both the instructor and the students and, along with the exercises, will create a personal integration of the material that makes medical ethics relevant for the students."
