Echo the Story is a 12-week Bible overview for youth using storytelling, creative reflection, and dialogue. Through this story-based approach, students find meaning and identity in the biblical narrative.
The Leader Guide is a map through each of the twelve sessions of Echo the Story. It details the process of each session and provides prompts and scripts that equip each leader to guide students through the 12-week study. The Leader Guide works in tandem with the Sketch Journals and DVD.

They LOVED it
By Katie, Youth Minister (Diocese of Greensburg)
During separate sessions we used the "Echo the Story" Bible study with our our EDGE and LIFETEEN (middle school and high schoolers) and they LOVED IT. They were offering positive feedback on their own after the bible study and said that they really enjoyed it.
My middle schoolers started to ponder some deep questions after reflecting on the story of Creation. They loved the fact that they each could have their own sketch journal. I think it also helped them to see that they are an important member of our youth ministry that they have their own journal too (we do have a loaner or two for those who may pop in and out of the Youth Ministry). They leave them there every week so that they don't forget to bring them or lose them.
I think that Echo the Story sessions are sessions that they will really look forward to. There are not enough Catholic bible studies geared towards these age groups and it is so important to help them to enjoy reading (in general) and reading the Bible. This way of connecting with Scripture has been a great experience so far for our youth so thank you!
