This presentation will provide an overview of the Catholic Connections program, an explanation of what you will find in the Catechist Guides, and an overview of a typical session.
The Young Adolescent
Meet the young adolescent and learn about his and her world, how they are growing and developing, and how best to catechize them.
Some Effective Catechetical Techniques
In this training session you will learn some best practices for leading activities, facilitating discussion, making presentations, and leading prayer.
Managing Your Learning Environment
How do you respond to and encourage young people who are easily distracted, uncooperative, or disruptive? This training session will help you understand young people's behavior and create an effective catechetical environment.
