Health and Wellness

Medical and Dental Insurance: Saint Mary's Press offers medical and dental insurance options for all full-time employees.

Section 125: This plan allows the employee to purchase insurance benefits with pre-tax dollars. It also enables you to set aside pre-tax dollars through payroll deductions throughout the year to pay for eligible unreimbursed medical, drug, dental, and other health care expenses, and eligible dependent-care expenses.


Retirement and Financial Planning

Retirement Plan: Saint Mary's Press contributes to a plan that provides an allowance to you (and your spouse) upon retirement.

401(k) Plan: As a supplement to your other retirement income, this plan offers you the opportunity to save a percentage of your pay before taxes. Saint Mary's Press also contributes a matching portion of your contributions when enrolled in this program.

Profit Sharing: Saint Mary's Press may contribute a portion of the company's surplus to your 401(k) account at the end of the fiscal year as profit sharing.


Life Insurance and Disability Protection

Employee Life Insurance: Saint Mary's Press provides employees with term life insurance.

Long-Term Disability Program: This company-sponsored program replaces a percentage of an employee's pay should she or he become disabled.


Additional Benefit Programs

Holidays: Twelve paid holidays annually are granted to full-time employees who have worked at least one month.

Vacation: Paid vacation time is provided for employees who have worked for Saint Mary's Press for at least thirty days.

Sick Leave: Paid sick time is provided for employees who are physically sick or injured and are unable to work.

Educational Assistance: We believe in job-related education and training, and financially support employees in their career development.

Employee Assistance Program: This program is designed to confidentially assist employees and their families in finding help for drug, emotional, mental, family, health, legal, and financial problems.
