Resources for the Pauline Year
Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed a special year to honor Saint Paul, which began on June 28, 2008, at the vigil of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul and will end on June 29, 2009. This year celebrates the 2000th anniversary of Paul's birth. Paul was born (Acts 13:9) between 1 and 10 A.D. The dates are an approximation because we do not have an actual biography of Paul but rather we come to know Paul through his own writings in the Letters and Luke's writing of him in the Acts of the Apostles.
