Moving On: Embracing the Future is the last of the seven core courses in Horizons. Designed for use with seniors, the course focuses on the major challenges facing young people as they move from adolescence into young adulthood. That transition includes five tasks:
(1) bringing closure on present situations and relationships
(2) creating a mission
(3) accepting one's identity
(4) pursuing autonomy and independence
(5) seeking a mentor and a community
